City Hall Council Chambers, 600 Elm St.

In 1999, City Council member Don Eaton was looking for opportunities to build community and encourage family engagement. He wanted to create an event that was interactive and fun for people of all ages, stressing shared connections. With the help of several friends, the Week of the Family started to take shape. Now, twenty-five years later, there are more than 45 volunteers on the committee hosting more than forty activities in ten days.

Please join us in celebrating Don Eaton as the founder of the San Carlos Week of the Family, who continues to make a meaningful impact, twenty-five years later.

This event is sponsored by a grant from the City of San Carlos Centennial Committee.
